GAS SAFETY ASSESSMENT : HTR : 1
This assessment is designed to test the knowledge, understanding and practical competence of operatives working on all types of fires and wall heaters.

Course Content:

Check open flue system
Install radiant type appliances
Install inset type appliances
Install balanced / fan assisted type appliances
Commissioning
Service and Repair

Appliance Range:
Open flued gas fires (radiant/convector), open flued inset live fuel effect gas fire (ILFE), open flued decorative fuel effect gas fire (DFE) balanced flue gas fire and balanced fan assisted wall heater.

Pre Requisites:
Candidates must hold a current certificate of competence in Core Domestic Gas Safety or Valid ACOP 1-5 before they can undertake this assessment.

Certification Awarded:
The candidate's existing certificate will be up-dated to include satisfactory assessment in this category.

Duration:
The duration of this assessment is 1 day.

Fees:
Â£125 + Â£65 Registration & Administration Fee
